1940s – 1960s
Ackermann Group began in the 1940s building single-family homes and four-family apartment buildings. The 1960s brought expansion into real estate development and construction, acquiring experience to build upon our foundation.
1970s – 1980s
Real estate management was added to Ackermann Group’s list of services in the 1970s. Beginning in the 1980s the company participated in the development of the Home Builder’s Association of Greater Cincinnati, working acting as members of the Consumer Affairs Committee. As members, Ackermann Group assisted in refining the industry’s guidelines of dispute resolution between builders and customers, instilling standards throughout the development process.
The 1990s led into a concentration on residential construction, residential and commercial renovation, and land development. Fueled by a passion for urban renewal, Ackermann Group moved towards urban infill and redevelopment, as the developer of the 1999 Spencer Hill CitiRama home show project. With this development, Ackermann Group established their prominence as an award winning leader in urban infill development.
2000s – PRESENT
Ackermann Group continues to thrive by acquiring, developing, and managing office, retail, medical, and residential assets. With a current portfolio of 500,000 square feet of commercial real estate and over 2,100 residential units, Ackermann Group has evolved into a progressive, real estate industry leader.
